And death shall have no dominion… Though lovers be lost love shall not. Dylan Thomas

I live just north of Reading, Berkshire, with my family.

My working life has been varied and organised to fit around the demands of a busy family. Work in the public, private and third sectors has required the ability to communicate with people from all walks of life including traumatised and vulnerable adults.

The decision to train as a Civil Celebrant was largely based upon my own experiences of bereavement. With this came the realisation that a funeral can be an occasion for both celebration and sadness, and that a personal, meaningful ceremony can make a real difference to the ways in which grief and loss are experienced.

I hold a Certificate in Funeral Celebrancy, having trained with
the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants. I adhere to the Code
of Ethics and Conduct of The International College of Celebrancy (UK division).

I am able to write and deliver Funeral, Memorial and Celebration of Life services and ceremonies for the burying or scattering of ashes, or can meet with someone before they die to create a funeral in accordance with their wishes.

I am available to work throughout Berkshire and the Home Counties.
